Question of the week!

What one article of clothing or accessory would you wear every day, if you could?

For me…a pair of jean capris

For my husband, it’s his sunglasses

My sister it’s a pair of black pants

For my Dr, Counselor and another Dr at the clinic, it’s specific pairs of shoes that they each own

A triage nurse at the clinic, it’s her tank top

A 3rd Dr. at the clinic said her wedding ring

Apparently, I’ve gotten quite the reputation at the clinic – My Dr. said she leaves our appointments and emails the question of the week to the lead Dr. on my team.  And this last Friday, we walked out of the room and my Dr wanted to introduce me to the Drs and triage nurse on call, in case I had to call for a fever…and after she said my name and that I was the one with the question of the week, they all said “oh, you’re the one!  What is it this week?” Which is why I have so many answers to share.

So…what’s your answer?

Question of the week

If you had to loose one of your senses, which would it be….and why?

Senses: touch, taste, smell, sound, sight

My Dr, the counselor and my sister all said smell…to help them eat less (loose weight), and because they’re married and would be able to avoid certain smells that come along with that (sorry, guys – but sometimes…ya’ll just stink!!! )

I would say sound…I need to feel my daughter hug me, I need to see her smile and I’m having enough trouble eating as it is that I don’t want to loose taste or smell (which impacts taste).  I figured I can still talk and I can learn to read lips and sign language.  Plus, as my sister pointed out, I could always get a coclier (sp?) implant!

So, every Oncologist visit, I ask my Dr a random off-the-wall question…to sort of lighten the mood.  I’ve posted some of them here, but haven’t been very good about it.   So here they are so far: (there aren’t many, because I’ve re-used the same questions as I see a team of Drs)
